“One day I floated above myself in meditation and I saw what I actually looked like - a heroin addict. I got sober that day." – Biet Simkin

Meditation teacher, spiritual leader, and artist, Biet Simkin, joins us on DENtalks Podcast today for a conversation that will leave you ready to drop all of your excuses and shake up your life. Biet believes that meditation should never be boring and creates a complete rock and roll experience through her art, music, and spiritual teachings. Her father was a Russian Shaman, whose teachings she now teaches others. This woman has experienced more loss, addiction, and sadness than most ever will – but today, she sits before us glowing and happy. Her story in and of itself is so moving and her wealth of spiritual knowledge is a huge gift to us all. Not only does she openly share her past struggles, but we also talk about how you can actually stop your destructive path, how to believe in yourself, the act of surrender, and who we all actually are at the core. She is a powerhouse healer and has put the pieces of her life back together one at a time, let her help you start to get control over yours!

  1. Type of Meditation you rely on most?
Psychic Meditation which is energy tools, visual meditation which is also her personal practice
  2. Helpful tip for valuable meditation?
Focus on your breath, take the pressure off yourself that you have to do it right. Keep showing up and try different meditation to find what works for you.
  3. Self-Care Hack?
I make sure to clear everyone out of my space every night and get out into nature. I clear people’s energy by creating a bubble out infront of you, putting everyone from the day in that bubble, and then blow up the bubble. This gives the person their energy back.
  4. If you could give any piece of life advice what would it be?
If you don’t like how things are going, believe that you can change your perception and everything else will change.
